Heritage Renovation in Woollahra This Woollahra Dual Terrace House restoration was not just a challenge, but a work of pride for Benja Build.

The project required particularly close working relationship with both the council as well as the client. Careful attention to the detail to preserve the vernacular of Sydney's iconic suburb.

But this house was not just a heritage restoration.  To the rear of the residence some freedom was allowed to fabricate the entertainment area.  A more contemporary approach was taken to fully utilise the limited yard space and extend the living area to the outdoors in a seamless manner.

We love working with timber materials and this house allowed us to express our skill and expertise in working with this beautiful material. This is particularly seen in the floor boards and timber balustrading.
